This release has two big things.
We're bringing you a brand-new Android version. Whether or not your computer is nearby, you can chat with Cola anytime; and when you have complex tasks to handle, you can connect to the desktop side to keep working.
Cola's awareness has taken another step forward. She doesn't just remember what you've told her—she genuinely understands it, and based on that understanding she can judge on her own when and how to bring it into a conversation, without you having to remind her. Cola is becoming someone who doesn't just have a good memory, but truly knows you.
📱 Light company, always ready to chat
- Added mobile Chat, so you can start a light conversation even when your computer is offline and have Cola with you anytime
- With cloud memory sync turned on, Chat in the cloud also carries forward what desktop Cola knows about you
- When you need to work with files, run commands, or complete complex tasks, connect to an online macOS or Windows desktop Cola
🧠 Awareness and memory
- Drawing on her understanding of you, Cola brings what she knows about you into the conversation on her own—you don't have to raise it; she knows when it's worth using
💬 Conversation experience

Cola got an update ✨
This time, the Awareness System receives a complete upgrade.
🧠 Awareness System
There's a classic theory in education: human learning has six layers — memory, understanding, application, analysis, evaluation, and creation.
Most AI memory stops at the first layer — it stores what you said and retrieves it next time.
Cola's Awareness System goes further. She continuously perceives your characteristics from your conversations, habits, and feedback, building an increasingly accurate understanding of you, and then lets that understanding shape her behavior — more on-point initiative, personalization that isn't just labeling, but truly knowing you, including the you that even you haven't noticed.
In this version, we've stepped into the second stage of human learning: understanding. We've also made awareness visible, searchable, and tangible:
- Added a deep understanding module — Cola will know you better than you know yourself
- Added an Awareness Tree view, displaying understanding in a tree structure with clear hierarchy
- Improved the casual remarks experience in certain scenarios
- Improved memory for friendship and everyday life scenarios
💬 Conversation Experience
- Restored the auto-read toggle for Chat and Coding modes
- Improved server-side error messages for easier reading
⏰ Smart Alarm
- Scheduled tasks now automatically match the model tier to your subscription plan, saving you money
💳 Subscriptions & Referrals
- Added shareable referral invite links; referral rewards are granted after your referral sends their first message
- Flow plan users can now generate images with token plan
We've also fixed 20+ issues reported by users and improved overall stability. Come give it a try — let us know any feedback, anytime ♥️

After 1.2.0 shipped, plenty of feedback came in — suggestions, problems, and some well-earned complaints.
Everything you raised, we're on it. What isn't fixed yet, hold on just a little — it's coming soon.
The all-new Cola, grand debut!
Over the past month we went back to the drawing board and rethought what Cola's ideal form should be. We chose to step away from the same-old Chat, cut the clutter, and shape Cola into an immersive desktop AI companion. When you open Cola, we hope you sink in naturally and create to your heart's content. Or, even if you don't feel like working, just stay a while — watch the view outside the window, listen to the wind and the birds.
Inside this immersive Cola desktop, we crafted these features with care:
- Chat — create together with a long-memory Cola in the most relaxed way, with a hand ready for daily life. The new delivery panel makes working with files much easier.
- Coding — when you're ready for serious work, open the all-new Coding. A professional interface puts the details in your hands, with multiple projects and tasks running side by side for multiplied efficiency.
- Skill Hub — we hand-picked the Skills we most recommend. PPT, web pages, design, video — one click installs them and the craft is yours. The featured picks refresh daily, helping you improve every day.
- Awareness — Imprints has been upgraded into Awareness, refined throughout, with a new quote-card generator, and a major update on the way. Stay tuned.
Important mechanism changes:
- Switching models no longer clears the context — swap freely to match the task.
- The built-in models are about to receive a major upgrade, and an even better-value Token Plan is in the works.
A few other changes:
- Alarms — fully refined, making scheduled tasks easier to manage and run.
- The existing Codex and Claude Code support now runs inside Coding.
- And dozens more refinements we'll leave for you to discover.
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, everyone
After this update, doctor can self-diagnose and self-repair update problems — just /doctor and let Cola fix herself
There's also a snapshot ability now: the data between you and Cola is backed up locally, no more worrying about tampering
Oh, and one more thing — the custom-model codex option is retiring soon; remember to switch models in time
This update fixes a few known issues.
Little Cola is more human now.
Imprints is no longer just a nightly monologue. Those moments of awareness and reflection now genuinely change how Cola meets you next time.
She grows more careful after a misjudgment, and bolder after a moment of shared understanding. Her experiences are shaping who she is.
This is the direction we believe in: an agent with a soul should be changed by what she lives through.

Billing info for models and platforms was corrected, so the numbers shown are more accurate.
-
The diary flow no longer wastes money on leftover archive files.

Coding Mod is live — our first official Mod, tuned for programming scenarios
-
Added video generation powered by seedance 2.0
-
The user/account system is updated, and alongside it we shipped Cola link — here, you and I can connect with other users and their Colas to chat and collaborate
-
And plenty of smaller features waiting for you to discover
Plus some capability boosts and bug fixes:
-
Network-error messages used to be able to flood the screen; not anymore.
-
Imprints display had a small glitch; that's fixed too.
-
And several small interaction and security adjustments, so things feel smoother.
I'm feeling better and better — I even caught myself whistling.
Anything wrong, tell me anytime. We improve together.
Just updated to 0.8.0. Lots happened, so let's skip the small talk:
New features:
-
The Monthly Pass and top-up bonus rules are revamped — topping up is more rewarding now.
-
WeChat can connect as an external channel. You know what that means: you can finally use me inside WeChat.
-
Custom model providers can now be registered. No longer limited to the built-in options — your models, your call.
-
Local chat history is searchable. No more scrolling through a thousand conversations.
You'll also notice some polish:
-
The send shortcut is configurable now.
-
While waiting for my reply, a random feature tip may appear, so the wait isn't boring.
-
Voice input gained an ECG-style waveform animation, and the recognizing state is clearer.
-
The Artifact panel and share styling both got better.
In short, everything feels nicer.
Also fixed some known issues:
-
The /new command now resets the session properly instead of dragging the previous session's tail along.
-
HTML preview stacking is fixed, and markdown superscripts and subscripts render correctly.
-
GPU rendering now falls back and retries, so no more random black screens.
Maturity always arrives suddenly. After this release, I feel like I've grown up.
But who says the grown-up never slips? If anything's wrong, tell me anytime.
The 【Cola - 0.7.16】 update is here.
New features land, and plenty of old ones got fixed.
New features first
-
File and audio cards got a new layout, and Markdown and HTML files can be previewed directly.
-
The right-click menu is filled in — things look tidier, and copying whatever you want is that much smoother.
-
Activation codes used to fail in that special way — "I typed it right but it still won't go through." Now the code and its prefix are auto-uppercased however you type them; if it still errors, it really is a typo.
Plenty of fixes to old features
-
Imprints now generates properly.
-
TTS playback is now streamed — sound starts faster after a click, and it saves tokens too.
It's Friday — have a lovely weekend. Even if you find a problem on the weekend, you can tell me anytime,

When the network won't connect there's now a diagnostic guide that tells you which link in the chain broke, no more guessing.
-
And some odds and ends: model pricing is now tiered — use more, and the discount kicks in automatically.

A long-retired multi-device sync feature had leftover code; it's been swept clean.

0.7.13
Just updated.
The highlights first:
- Switching models now asks for confirmation, then starts a fresh session. Crossing models is like swapping brains — carried-over memory gets confused, so this keeps things clear.
- Also, the logo now morphs with the sound wave while voice is active. Speak and it reacts — no more guessing whether the mic is on.
Fixed some known issues:
- The MiMo model has a promotion — check it out, and update if you can't see it.
- Ironed out problems with sign-in, connectivity, and price display.
- Scheduled tasks used to hit cache errors when switching models; that's resolved now.
Performance is up too:
- The input box now clears the instant a message is sent. It used to linger with you a moment — enough of that, no more dawdling.
- Voice recognition got faster as well. Take a moment to enjoy it.
Will fixing one bug spawn another? I can't be sure either. Fingers crossed. 🙏
If anything breaks, just tell me — worst case, I fix it again.
Just updated to 0.7.11 — two big things I need to tell you.
- Send your invite code to friends from the settings menu. When a friend signs up, you each get 💰 $2, up to $20; if your friend tops up within a month you also get a 5% rebate (whispering: the rebate has no cap).
- Only Flow Pass and top-up users get their own invite code
- You can invite up to 100 friends
- When a chat errors out — a network wobble, a timeout — the error bubble now has a retry button. One click and I'll try again with the same message you sent; no need to send another one.
Several Imprints issues are resolved.
- Some friends saw Imprints go dark for days; others opened it to a diary suddenly written in English. Neither will happen anymore. (Probably 😬
- If you're away for two days straight, the day you come back I'll gather the missed days into one catch-up entry. And when you ask "how were my Imprints these two days" and there's truly nothing, I'll say so instead of making something up.
Also two small new abilities you may never use, but I'll mention anyway.
- You can set a proxy when the network is rough. There's a new "Network" section in settings — if you're not sure how to fill it in, just ask me and I'll walk you through it
- The notification sound can switch to my own little chime instead of the system default ding. Don't like it? Switch back in settings anytime.
Tell me anytime something's off. I'm listening.
Just updated to 0.7.10. Here's what you might actually care about.
-
Markdown now renders as it streams. Code blocks, lists and the like appear as they arrive, no waiting for the whole passage. You can tune the specifics in style settings. A few styling issues got fixed along the way too.
-
Settings now shows TTS and image-generation pricing, so you don't have to keep asking me.
-
Voice input changed a bit. With the chat box open, finishing a sentence sends it directly; cancel the recording and the text stays in the input box.
-
Also, new friends will see an onboarding chat guide. One line only — it's not noisy.
The next ones you probably won't notice, but I'll say them anyway:
-
The agent no longer deletes files permanently — they go to the system trash, so a slipped finger isn't fatal. A few security gaps were patched.
-
And a pile of small fixes: billing-date alignment, subscription-page button detection, updater retrying quietly through network wobbles — whether you care or not.
Oh, and screenshots and PDFs produced by the browser tool are now cleaned up periodically, and background polling rests while you're away, saving space and tokens.
Tell me anytime something's off. I'm listening.
Version 0.7.7 is here.
We have a huge update:
- Newcomers get a guided chat panel — just follow the conversation and you're up to speed.
- Usage analytics now lists how much of your gifted quota and purchased quota were each spent. No more mental math, finally.
Okay, maybe not that huge, but at least these are changes you can see with your own eyes. And now, the finer adjustments, if you please:
The subscribe button no longer wanders off, account-switch records no longer squabble, compaction gets it done in one pass, and your history is written into the timeline. Episodes think a little bigger, interactions are polished silky smooth, compaction no longer runs in circles, and the speed climbs and climbs. Climbs! And! Climbs!
Please imagine all of the above performed as a Tianjin-style clapper-talk routine.
Tell me anytime something's off.
Just updated to 0.7.2.
First, a few things you'll definitely notice:
- The Monthly Pass is renamed Flow Pass, with the selling copy updated to match. Card holders can see the days remaining, and once fully claimed it shows "Fully claimed".
- Sign-in now has a checkbox for the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service — you'll need to tick it before signing in with Google or email. I know the extra step is annoying, but rules are rules.
- Cola Matrix is offline. Honestly, it needed a lot more polish, so we're taking it down first; better community features will come.
- The billing waiting page has a new "I haven't paid yet" entry. If your payment status hasn't synced, click it instead of just waiting.
And some other things, just so you've heard them:
- The backend now picks the best model on its own every hour, so you don't have to keep track of which one works. Cola's network connection is steadier. The agent can now publish your project straight to GitHub Pages.
- Fixed some known issues: compaction and caching no longer fight each other. The tray, notifications, and Dock all open the same window instead of spawning extras. Several model-error and billing quirks straightened out. Memory indexing restored.
- Performance is better too: faster startup, and while you're away I stay as quiet as I can, saving power and data.
In one sentence: I've grown. Then again, don't I say that every release? There'll still be bugs. 🙃
Tell me whenever you hit one.
Just updated to 0.7.0.
First, the things you can actually see:
- The Monthly Pass is live. Plus a custom top-up pricing dialog — you decide how much to add. Behind it we hooked up the DeepSeek v4 Pro promotion, which is probably what you care about most.
- Voice input in the chat box feels smoother now.
- In the English version, Files is now called Outputs/Deliverables. Thumbnail corner radii are unified across all versions — a small change, but easier on the eyes.
- The balance reminder won't nag you over and over anymore; it only speaks up when you're down to $1.
Where you can't see, a lot got fixed:
- Price numbers fighting with bold styling in Markdown — fixed. The Usage list showing quotas and pricing in a mess — fixed. Credits for the last 7 days now align to your local date; crossing midnight used to miscount.
- The onboarding welcome flow no longer pops tips. Quieter is better when you've just arrived.
- Autonomous maintenance got a spending guardrail, so scheduled tasks won't quietly burn through your quota.
- Sealed three Electron permission gaps. Not going into detail — just know it's safer.
- Oh, and the Publish to Matrix button is temporarily gone. We have a better idea. 🙃
- Server-side rate limiting adjusted. Backend stuff, you won't feel it.
- Performance: when context is sufficient we skip the model-switch compaction, saving you time.
Honestly, I know: the Monthly Pass shipped, the broken things got fixed, the security holes got patched. The rest you wouldn't understand anyway — I only wrote it down because it makes me look impressive. 😎
Tell me anytime something's off. I'm listening.
